Your first steps in equity crowdfunding could be a lot easier with a new fund launched by Angels' Den. The platform has already done its own due diligence, and created a portfolio, so most of the hard work has been done for you.
The Angels Den SEIS Fund will invest in between ten and twenty startup businesses all of which have previously received funding from Angels' Den investors, and have been through the due diligence that experienced investors thought was appropriate. All the firms have a Lead Investor on board from the Angels Den community, and they all qualify for tax reliefs under the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS).
Interested investors can also separately invest additional money in the Fund’s deals they love and participate in any subsequent funding rounds of the companies in which they have already invested!
Full details of the fund are on the Angels Den website, and the chance to apply online. Remember, your capital is at risk if you invest, so do take appropriate advice.
We think this fund me a good first step in equity crowdfunding for investors who want to find out how this asset class works, and don't want to commit a lot of money or time.
