1.UK – P2P 

P2P Finance News reports:

“PROPERTY investment firm Cogress has launched an Innovative Finance ISA (IFISA), offering returns of up to 7.5 per cent.

The firm is launching three IFISA-eligible bonds, which are invested into property development projects across the UK. The bonds have a minimum investment of £5,000 and offer rates of between five per cent and 7.5 per cent, depending on the investment term.”

 

2. UK – AltFi

 

An alternative lending fund in wind-down offers a special dividend.

 

ALTERNATIVE lending fund RDL Realisation is set to announce a special dividend after receiving full repayment of its vehicle service contract (VSC) loans.

The $27.9m (£22.9m) refinancing deal is part of the ongoing wind-down of RDL’s portfolio.

 

3. UK – AltFi

The catchily-named  commission-free share trading giant Robinhood revealed it has set up a UK subsidiary, and has been granted authorisation from the FCA.

 

4. International - FinTech

 

Online payments giant Klarna has scooped up another $460m in an equity funding round led by Dragoneer, which values the fintech firm at $5.5bn.

Other investors included Commonwealth Bank of Australia, HMI Capital, Starling Bank investor Merian Chrysalis, Forsta AP-Fonden, IPGL, Institutional Venture Partners and several funds managed by Blackrock.
